After last night’s kefuffle that saw a Scottish cabinet walk-out from the Liberal Democrats, the Spectator can now confirm that the party has returned. The localised Saltcon 1 lockdown has been lifted on all government communications.

A Scottish government spokesperson denied any crisis of communication between the Scottish Liberal Democrats and the other governing parties, and said: “Discussions between government members are continuing unaltered from matters ranging from educational choices to burials”.

However it was not all smiles, when asked who was to blame for the kefuffle, a Conservative government source denied such a kefuffle existed, where as a different source within government suggested that the First Minister had been “a bit difficult as of late”.

It can be assumed that the government is still under internal strain and their ability to maintain a united outlook has been put into question. The Spectator can confirm that NorthernWomble’s discord admin permissions have not been returned, the original reason as to why he and other lib dems walked from cabinet.
